Ipe

ipe (pronounced e-pay), the extremely dense Brazilian hardwood, was installed around the edges of the roofline over the weekend. The 22' boards are really heavy, fortunately the scaffolding was still up, can't imagine how it could have been hoisted up without it.

Stucco dilemma solved

after many samples and much debate, we mixed the top 2 color choices and got a perfect, earthy-green color.
